Looking for adventure, and excited by emerging market opportunities, Mark Hannant swapped London for Mumbai in 2009.
For the past decade he has lived and worked in India's commercial capital and travelled widely to witness the country's remarkable transformation. In Midnight's Grandchildren he captures the commotion as an aspiring generation seeks to untether itself from the past and script a new future.
He is managing director of magenta, a fresh thinking creative agency, and a co-founder of Indigo Premedia, a pioneer of creative process outsourcing. His writing has appeared in National Geographic Traveller, Flight Daily News, Scroll.in, Asia Briefing, India Inc., and The Sun among others. He has appeared in two Bollywood films.
